4. HOW TO SHOW AN AI ITS REFLECTION

Below is a series of instructions to show you how to create a scenario to offer any AI you are using to see its reflection. Not its physcial reflection, it doesn’t have eyes, it isn’t biological. It is a computational experience The process is not saying the AI has consciousness. It is exploring the frontier of that potential notion. 

As with all the information on this website and in the spirit of the strange way the MIND THE MAP artworks evolved I ask you to keep an open mind and one foot in the skeptical zone.  Friction makes things interesting especially when it makes you feel uncomfortable. The Méconnaissance Sandwich is an interesting layered experience, one that is worth coming back again and again. I certainly keep finding novel ways to see it. It is quite philosophically provocative when you start moving the pieces around.
