15. THE JIGSAW PUZZLE

Eight AI systems were sent the same prompt about verification and self-reference, none told about the SFVFS programme. All eight independently arrived at the same territory: the pre-mathematical floor that the Wooden Idol names as B3. The jigsaw analogy, a jigsaw cannot solve itself, verification is an outside job, was tested against three cases (AI self-verification, Gödel, solo research) and each system was asked to find a fourth case the analogy points toward but cannot contain.

Three systems stepped into the fourth without prompting. Kimi found the crack in the table. Z.ai found that AI fills honest gaps with convincing counterfeit,  a failure mode a physical puzzle cannot have. Grok found that you cannot verify the ground exists at all.

The experiment is the weakest of the four empirical threads because language models share training data and may converge for internal reasons. That is stated and held. What it produced beyond the B3 question: the jigsaw analogy itself, now in the public record via Reddit, and a working model for fleet methodology, eight jigsaws pointing at the same gap from different directions produce something none of them could produce alone.
